The #1 Way to Avoid Rush Order Delays

File issues are the number one reason rush orders miss their window. A file with missing bleed, low-resolution images, or RGB color mode triggers a hold until the issue is resolved. On a standard timeline, that costs a day. On a rush timeline, it can cost your entire deadline. Before you upload, run this checklist: PDF format. CMYK color mode. 300 DPI minimum on all images. 0.125-inch bleed on all sides. Fonts embedded or outlined. No RGB elements. No spot colors unless specified. If every box is checked, your file will sail through prepress in minutes and production starts immediately. Our free templates on the Design Templates page are pre-configured with correct dimensions, bleed, and safety zones. Starting from a template eliminates the most common file issues entirely.

Choosing the Right Turnaround + Shipping Combo

Your delivery date is production time plus shipping time. To hit a specific date, work backward. If you need prints by Friday and today is Wednesday morning, you need same-day production (prints today) plus overnight shipping (delivers Thursday) — giving you a full day of buffer. If you need prints by next Tuesday and today is Thursday, next-day production (prints Friday) plus ground shipping (delivers Monday or Tuesday) works. Ground shipping is the most economical, but overnight and 2-day options are available when every day matters. The checkout page calculates your guaranteed delivery date automatically based on your selections. If the date does not work, adjust your production speed or shipping method until it does.
