Rush Print and Mail
Your event is in 10 days and your mailers are still on screen. We print them, prep them, and get them into the mail stream — fast.
When the Mailing Deadline Is Breathing Down Your Neck
A standard print-and-mail campaign takes 2 to 3 weeks. You do not have 2 to 3 weeks. Your event is next Saturday. Your sale starts Monday. Your nonprofit gala invitations should have gone out last week.
Rush Flyer's print-and-mail service compresses the timeline. Rush production gets your pieces printed in 1 to 3 business days. Expedited mail processing gets them into the postal system within 24 hours of production. USPS delivers within 3 to 7 business days depending on mail class.
You cannot rush the post office. But you can eliminate every minute of delay on our end, and that is exactly what we do. The pieces that would normally sit in a production queue for a week are printed, prepped, and dropped to USPS in a fraction of that time.
EDDM on a Rush Timeline
Every Door Direct Mail reaches every household on the postal routes you select — no mailing list required. It is the fastest way to saturate a neighborhood with your message when you do not have time to build or buy a targeted list.
With rush production, your EDDM pieces are printed and postal-ready in as little as 2 business days. USPS delivery takes 3 to 7 business days after our postal drop. Total timeline from order to mailboxes: 5 to 10 business days.
Choose your carrier routes using the USPS EDDM online mapping tool. Our EDDM-ready sizes meet all USPS dimensional requirements. Upload your design, select your routes, and we handle printing, bundling, postal paperwork, and drop-off.
For event promotion on compressed timelines, EDDM is the most practical option. No list to acquire. No addresses to format. Just geography — pick the routes closest to your venue and let the postal carrier do the distribution.
Addressed Mailings When Time Is Short
If you have a customer list, membership roster, or purchased mailing list, addressed mail delivers your piece directly to specific people. Personalization increases response rates — a mailer with the recipient's name gets more attention than a generic piece.
Upload your list in CSV or Excel format. We run it through USPS address verification, add ZIP+4 codes for postage optimization, and flag undeliverable addresses. Clean lists reduce waste and qualify for automation postage discounts.
On a rush timeline, list processing happens in parallel with printing. By the time your pieces come off press, the mailing data is processed, sorted, and ready. Total time from order to postal drop: 2 to 4 business days with rush production.
Plan for 5 to 10 business days of postal delivery time after our drop. Work backward from your event date: if you need mailers in mailboxes by the 15th, you need to order and approve your proof by the 1st at the latest.
Design Your Piece for Mailing
Mailed pieces need a mailing panel — a designated area on one side for the address, barcode, and postal indicia. This panel must be clear of text, images, and dark backgrounds that would interfere with barcode readability.
Our file guidelines include mailing panel templates for every EDDM and addressed mail size. Download the template for your product, design around the mailing panel, and your file is ready for both printing and postal processing.
EDDM pieces have specific USPS size requirements — minimum 6.125 x 11 inches for flat-rate classification. Our EDDM products are pre-sized to meet this standard. Choose one and your piece automatically qualifies for the lowest EDDM postage rate.
